Oprah is not my favorite person on TV but I would agree that you don’t suddenly carry as much power because you have a lot of twitter followers. Far as I know you can buy those anyway.

I have been an Oprah Winfrey fan since I was a kid, she has changed lives literally. She has saved people and given to people in ways it would take a long time to catch up with and I don’t think having facebook fans counts against that either.

I don’t like any of them, but a kid like Beiber should probably live a little before being compared to a woman who has caused thousands and thousands of people to vote for the first black president. Maybe he could influence kids to wear clothes that fit though.

Beiber sucks. It should take more than a video on YouTube to get that famous.

I think he is okay and if that’s how you get famous these days I suggest a lot of singers make videos. Its cheaper than driving to a bunch of bars to play! But Oprah is by far more influential.

Gaga is awesome! However, I think I would probably find myself more easily influenced by winfrey. I cant see myself wearing a meat dress… but I could see myself reading the latest Oprah book club suggestion.

Agreed. You can’t top Oprah with a bunch of tweets. You just can’t compare that with results.

No question, Love them all but Oprah rules. Would love to see the rest catch up though, she made some great goal posts.

I’ve been watching Oprah and her show for eons. I’ve only seen the other two over the last year. Ask me in 25 if they measure up.

You just can’t put them all in the same pile. I can see how Beiber is influential to teens, but has he saved lives yet? Fed oodles of hungry? He may do all that but lets give him and other hot trends a chance to take hold before we compare them to the entrenched.

Oprah is not replaceable. Not by one musician or one actor. You would need an author, politician, actor, host, philanthropist, and more.. to replace the power of the one woman to make things happen.

There is no way a couple singers can have the same global influence as Oprah Winfrey. That’s like saying Facebook is as strong as Microsoft. Pfft.
